Toronto Hydro says they are working on restoring power to two areas of the city on Friday morning that is affecting roughly 10,000 customers.
The hydro company said the boundaries for the first affected area run from St. Clair Avenue West south to The Queensway and from Jane Street east to Dufferin Street.
The second affected area is a smaller pocket from St. Clair Avenue West south to Dupont Street and Dovercourt Road east to Bathurst Street.
A spokesperson for Toronto Hydro said they are investigating a fault at a hydro station which is likely the cause of the power outage, however crews are still determining what caused the outages.
There is no estimated time of restoration.
The spokesperson said customers are being told to prepare for the outage to last into the afternoon hours.
The boundaries are in & around the area of St. Clair Ave W south to the Queensway & Jane St east to Dufferin St.
The outage is affecting a second pocket as well: St. Clair Ave W south to Dupont St and Dovercourt Rd east to Bathurst St.
