Premier Stephen McNeil is set to announce the completion of the implementation of the Nova Scotia pre-primary program on Thursday.
The announcement is scheduled to take place at 10:30 a.m. AT, and will be livestreamed on our website.

According to the province, Premier McNeil will be joined by Zach Churchill, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, in Dartmouth where the announcement is taking place.
Nova Scotia’s Liberal government has been pushing ahead with its universal pre-primary program with the aim of having it implemented across the province by 2020 at a cost of $49.9 million a year, as reported by the Canadian Press in 2018.
