Toronto police say they are investigating after bottles were thrown from the balcony of a downtown condo unit where there was reportedly a “large gathering” Sunday afternoon.
Police said they received a call to the area of York Street and Lake Shore Boulevard at 2:35 p.m.
There were reports of a gathering at a condo unit and bottles being thrown down to the road below, police said.

Police later confirmed that bottles landed on York Street.
Road closures were put in place as a result.
A police spokesperson told Global News that as of shortly after 3 p.m., officers hadn’t yet gone into the building.
No injuries have been reported.
