The Edmonton Oilers have signed a high-profile veteran player to bolster the team’s defence, announcing the club had come to terms on a one-year deal with defenceman John Klingberg.
The Oilers announced the signing in a news release issued Friday afternoon.
Klingberg has collected 412 points in 633 NHL games over his career.
