One Mississauga high school is under a lockdown and another is in a hold and secure after police said a student was reportedly seen with a weapon.
In a tweet Tuesday afternoon, Peel Regional Police said the incident occurred in the Erin Centre Boulevard and Glen Erin Drive area at around 1:11 p.m.
Police said officers received a report of a student walking the hall with a weapon.

Officers said, though, that no threats had been made and no injuries had been reported.
Police said St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School is now under a lockdown.
Officers said John Fraser Secondary School is in a hold and secure.
