Nova Scotia to provide COVID-19 update on Tuesday

Nova Scotia is set to provide a COVID-19 update on Tuesday.

Premier Stephen McNeil and Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health, will provide the update in a briefing at 3 p.m. ATL.

As of Monday, Nova Scotia reported no new cases of COVID-19 and said 25 active cases remain.

The province encourages post-secondary students returning to Nova Scotia from anywhere except Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador to book a COVID-19 test for day six, seven or eight of their 14-day self-isolation period.

COVID-19 testing appointments can be booked up to three days in advance.
