A person was shot near the ByWard Market on Thursday afternoon, Ottawa police said in a tweet, adding no one was yet in custody.
Police tweeted shortly after 3:30 p.m. that officers were responding to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Dalhousie Street, near the intersection with Rideau Street.
