An ongoing police incident in New Westminster has forced the evacuation of all students and staff from Douglas College.
Everyone is asked to evacuate towards Eighth Street or Royal Avenue.
The Douglas parkade, including Carnarvon parkade, is closed and vehicles are not accessible.
Everyone is asked to avoid the New Westminster campus.
This evacuation does not affect the Anvil Office Tower or the Coquitlam Campus.
Multiple roads around the courthouse have been evacuated. New Westminster police are on the scene along with the Emergency Response Team.
It is unclear at this time what has happened but everyone is asked to avoid the area.
