Toronto police officer involved in search warrant dead, found in parking lot: sources

A Toronto police officer has died in the line of duty, multiple police sources tell Global News.

It’s unclear how the officer died, but sources say the officer was involved in executing a search warrant Thursday morning.

The officer was found in the parking lot of 31 Division in North York. The officer was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
