Winnipeg cops to announce additional charges in animal cruelty case

Winnipeg police are set to announce more charges in an animal cruelty case.

Police will speak to media at 11 a.m. Wednesday with an update on Project Artemis — an abuse case that involved videos and photos of animals being killed and tortured that surfaced on the dark web.

Two people, a 55-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, were arrested in in the fall at a Lord Roberts-area home and face a litany of charges.
